FCP Part 1 Overview
The FCP (Fellowship of the College of Physicians of South Africa) is the postgraduate examination required for specialist registration in Internal Medicine in South Africa. The examination consists of two parts: Part 1 covers basic sciences, and Part 2 covers the principles and practice of medicine, applied basic science, diagnosis, and treatment.
Part I no longer expires, provided the candidate remains affiliated with a training platform at the time of applying for Part II.
