FCP Part 2 Overview
FCP Part 2 builds on Part 1 and assesses the principles and practice of medicine, applied basic science, diagnosis, and treatment. Part 2 consists of three sections: MCQ exam, Objective Test, and Clinical exam.
Candidates who have completed both Part I and Part 2 of the MRCP(UK) may be exempt from FCP Part I. Part 2 must be passed within four years of completing registrar training time.

Eligibility & Requirements
- Post-community service medical qualification registered with the HPCSA.
- Completed 30 months full-time post-internship training as a medical registrar or clinical assistant.
- Passed FCP Part 1 (or exempt via full MRCP(UK)).
- Supervisors' approval of the candidate's portfolio.
